Projects overview
Programs under the Project:
Congregation arrangement for 250 to 300 persons in the ground floor of Mosque with provisions of extension up to first floor. There are 32 shops in the shopping center of this project, these shops will be rented to the local people. This rent constitutes the main source of the income for the project. Besides, there are 36 Bigha of crop land under this project. Income earned from the sale of the produced crops will be utilized to bear the running cost of projects. Arrangements of primary education in this programme and general education side by side, emphasis will be given on English subject. In This programme there is an arrangement for education up to Class Five at primary level and this will be given at free of cost. At the Islamia Madrashah all kinds of Islamic education have been designed for better quality education for the students.
There are also arrangements for education from Class One to Alim, which will be offered all the students of this foundation free of cost.
In the Islamic centre books will be available on lone from the library. Under this project there is a children dormitory for orphanage and also there are provision of accommodation for 50 to 60 children, Medical treatment will be given at free of cost for the orphan children in and around this locality. In this Madrasah education will be given on various subjects in the vocational training center under this project and practical training will be held at Surma valley engineering in Sreemongal.
The subjects are as follows:
(a) Sewing (b) Embroidery (c) Various technical aspects of garments Industry (d)Various machinery parts of Tea estate. (e) Mechanical (f) Carpenter etc. As there are many Tea garden in this district, a course have been designed on this subject so that workers of this area can learn their various technical works at Surma valley engineering for the tea industry. Those who will complete mechanical course, will be given opportunity of internee in the Workshop of Surma Valley Engineering, small tea machineries spare parts manufacturing and repairing services, also auto mobile repairing organization. The tenure of every course will range from 1 to 3 years according to curriculum. Those who will take training most of them will be the children of the orphanage centre. After completion of the training the children may dream themselves as self dependent and enable them to find jobs elsewhere in the country or abroad. In the Medical program there will be Dispensary also, which will take care of health collecting Tk. 10 only. Besides there will be a satellite Clinic. This Clinic will offer health care to remote areas of the village; more over there are arrangement of giving health education to the people too. Men & Woman will be conscious about the various aspects of the health care through this programme.
